You may have seen the latest listing announcements. They mark the first phase of Deribit’s largest-ever expansion of perpetual futures: more than 90 new USDC-settled contracts across crypto, listed equities and ETFs, commodities, the COIN50 index and private-market valuations. This goes well beyond adding more crypto markets and marks a new market chapter for Deribit, with the full lineup rolling out in stages. All are available through Deribit soon and settled in USDC.
The expansion follows Deribit’s matching engine upgrade, which supports deeper liquidity, faster execution and tighter spreads. Together, the new contracts and upgraded infrastructure mark a significant step in Deribit’s evolution into a broader derivatives venue.
Equity, ETF, Commodity and Pre-IPO perpetuals are offered under the Limited Licence Approval Deribit FZE received from VARA, and are subject to the conditions, eligibility requirements and restrictions applicable to that approval.
The new markets at a glance
The new listings span five market areas:
- Crypto perpetuals: a broad set of new assets across established protocols, emerging networks, DeFi, memecoins and newer market categories.
- Equity and ETF perpetuals: exposure to large-cap technology, semiconductors, fintech, crypto-linked equities and major US ETFs.
- Commodity perpetuals: contracts referencing gold, silver and energy markets.
- Index perpetuals: a contract referencing the COIN50 index.
- Pre-IPO perpetuals: market-linked contracts referencing private-company valuations for Anthropic and OpenAI.
Together, these markets broaden Deribit’s reach beyond crypto and open up a new era of derivatives trading.
Crypto remains the foundation
The crypto expansion covers more than 60 new USDC-settled perpetuals. The list spans major networks, DeFi protocols, infrastructure projects, memecoins and newer tokens, giving traders more instruments for directional views, hedging and relative-value strategies.

Equities and ETFs come to Deribit
For the first time, Deribit is bringing listed equities and ETFs into its perpetual-futures offering. The new markets span mega-cap technology, semiconductors, fintech, crypto-linked companies, broad-market indices and sector-focused ETFs.

Equity and ETF perpetuals track the price of a referenced security without representing ownership of it. They give eligible traders a way to express a directional view or manage exposure without trading the underlying shares or ETF units. Funding, margin, leverage, index and other product-specific parameters apply.
Commodity markets join the expansion
Deribit is also adding perpetual contracts linked to major commodity markets. The lineup includes precious metals and energy references, extending the range of markets available through the same USDC-settled derivatives environment.

A new way to trade market-wide crypto exposure
The expansion also includes COIN50_USDC, a perpetual contract referencing the COIN50 index. This gives traders access to a broader basket of crypto-market exposure through a single contract rather than taking positions in individual assets.

Market-linked exposure to private companies
Deribit is introducing perpetuals referencing the market-linked valuations of Anthropic and OpenAI. These products bring private-market exposure into a perpetual-futures format for eligible traders.

| ANTHROPIC_USDC |
| OPENAI_USDC |
These contracts are not shares. They do not provide ownership, voting rights or a claim on either company. Instead, they provide derivatives-based exposure to a referenced valuation. Because private-company valuations can be based on less frequent transactions and limited available market information, liquidity, pricing, basis and settlement risks may differ materially from those of listed equities.
For detailed specifications of the equity, ETF, commodity and pre-IPO perpetuals, see the RWA Perpetual specifications.
One settlement asset across every new market
All contracts in the expansion are settled in USDC. That gives traders a consistent collateral asset across positions, even when the underlying markets range from crypto tokens and equity indices to listed companies, commodities and private-market valuations.
The rollout will continue in stages. Follow Deribit’s official channels for the latest launch announcements and the exact timing of each listing.
