How to Buy Crypto with Fiat Currencies on Deribit

Follow this guide to purchase cryptocurrency with fiat (e.g., USD, EUR) on Deribit:

Step 1: Login to Deribit

1. Visit the Deribit website.
2. Log in with your credentials.
3. Access the main dashboard.

Step 2: Initiate the Purchase

1. On the dashboard, click “Buy Crypto“.

Step 3: Enter Amount & Currency

1. Input desired amount (e.g., ‘10000’ for $10,000).
2. Choose your fiat currency from the drop-down.
3. Select Cryptocurrency (e.g., for Bitcoin, choose ‘BTC’).

Step 4: Select Payment Channel

1. Explore available payment methods (these vary by region).
2. For this guide, pick ‘Legend Trading‘.
3. Confirm terms of use and click continue.

Step 5: Legend Trading; Choose Your Payment Method

1. Select between Fiat Balance (for bank transfers and other payment methods if available) and Credit Card.
2. Opt for Fiat Balance.

Step 6: Deposit Fiat Funds (if necessary)

1. If you don’t have sufficient fiat funds, deposit them first before converting to crypto.
2. Click on “+Add money.”

3. Select “Wire transfer”.

4. Choose your currency, in this case, EUR.

5. Follow the deposit instructions to add funds to your fiat account.

6. Once funds are received, return to the Legend Trading menu to finalize your order and buy crypto.
