This breaking change only affects clients that use our Market Maker Protection (MMP) service which is not active for most clients.
On 1 August 2023, 1 PM UTC, Deribit will switch MMP from a currency-based configuration to an index name-based one. For example, instead of btc we will use btc_usd. We are implementing this change in order to allow different MMP configurations for USDC: btc_usdc, eth_usdc, xrp_usdc etc
The current currency-based MMP configuration will automatically be migrated to index name-based configuration:
btc => btc_usd
eth => eth_usd
